Mary Lahy (c1795-1862?)

Mary Lahy was born in Kilkenny (Ireland) in about 1795. She was married three times (to Thomas Tobin, John Bohan and William Boardley respectively). She was convicted of receiving stolen property (mutton) in 1836 and transported to NSW as a convict (as were her two sons and a daughter who had been convicted of killing the sheep). After the granting of her ticket of leave in 1846, she lived at Windsor, NSW. The last years of her life are obscure.
