Elizabeth Curry Shepherd is descibed as "base born daughter of Susanna Shepherd".2,1,3,4,5,6 She was the daughter of Jeremiah Curry and Susanna Shepherd.6,5,1,2 As of 8 September 1828 her married name was Jolliffe.7,8 On 12 December 1830 her name was recorded as "Mary" in the Parish Register record for the baptism of her daughter Mary.1,9 Her name was recorded in the Parish Register of Baptisms as "Betsey" following the birth of her son James on 3 May 1837.9 On 27 May 1838 her name was recorded as "Betsey" in the Parish Register record for the baptism of her daughter Elizabeth.9 On 14 February 1841 her name was recorded as "Betsey" in the Parish Register record for the baptism of her daughter Ellen.9 On 7 June 1846 her name was recorded as "Betsey" in the Parish Register record for the baptism of her son Arthur.9 On 14 February 1849 her name was recorded as "Betsey" in the Parish Register record for the baptism of her son James.9

Death

     She died at age 84 on 26 December 1894 in Wollongong, AustraliaG. The official cause of death was senile decay.6,5 She was buried on 27 December 1894 in C of E Cemetery, Dapto, AustraliaG.6,5
