Michael Burke, Hanrahan, was born in April 1824 in Campbells River.1,2 He was baptized in April 1824 in South Creek, NSW, Australia. Michael Hogan and his sister Margaret were later to also become godparents to Michael Burke Hanrahan's brother Philip, who was baptised on the day that Michael Hogan married Catherine Scott in 1826.3 He was baptized on 5 May 1825 in Bringelly, NSW, Australia. Denis Hogan was baptised at the same place on the same day.4,2

No 43387 Michael Burke, Hanrahan, witnessed the death of Patrick Hanrahan, the Elder, on 30 November 1858 in Mount Pleasant, NSW, Australia. pulmonary disease6,7,8 Michael Burke, Hanrahan, witnessed the probate of the estate of Patrick Hanrahan, the Elder, on 13 May 1859.7 Was the undertaker for 's burial on 10 September 1859 in Black Springs, NSW.9,10,11 Was the undertaker for 's burial on 15 February 1876 in Black Springs, NSW.12 Michael Burke, Hanrahan, witnessed the death of John Kessey on 18 March 1902 in Black Springs, NSW. The cause of death was cholera. The coroner at Oberon, Albert Fox, deemed that an inquest was unnecessary.13,2,14 Michael Burke, Hanrahan, died on 1 June 1910 at age 86 in Black Springs.2
