Birth

Alfred Frederick Kemp was born about 1865 at Mungrabambone station in Quambone. Lorraine Voigt's book says that Alfred was born at "Mungrabone" station on the Macquarie River. This is probably a reference to George Gibson's "Mungrabambone" station which is near the Marthaguy Creek about 25 km North of Quambone. It had been recently been acquired by John McLean of Warrangee station near Rylstone where William had worked in 1859.1,2,3
