Death

Emily Kessey died from intestinal inflammation on 11 February 1876 at age 5 at Hillsborough in Black Springs. Medical attendant E O'Brien had seen her the day before. Emily is mysteriously listed as still living in 1902 (on her father's death certificate) and in 1907 (on her mother's death certificate).6,5 She was buried on 15 February 1876 in Black Springs.5
