Family life
John S ("Jack") McCready and Eliza Emily Tobin ("Lila") Maxwell were married on 12 June 1899 at Presbyterian Church Bourke in Bourke. The church ceremony took place at 6am! There were about 50 people present. The rception was held at the Union Hotel Hall, owned by her aunt Frances Tobin nee Reed.3,4,5
