On 30 March 1861 they resided with parent (Robert Clarkson, cotton handloom weaver) in Fulwood, Lancashire.1 On 30 March 1871 they resided with parent (Robert Clarkson, labourer) in Fulwood, Lancashire. His daughters Ellen and Ann lived two doors up, along with two of his grandchildren2 On 30 March 1881 he resided with parent (Robert Clarkson, farm servant) in Fulwood, Lancashire. Robert was a widower, lodger and farm servant on Crab Tree Farm for farmer, Oliver Hothersall. A Thomas Clarkson (widower aged 42 from Fulwood) also lived there. He was a joiner.4
