William Entwistle was born circa 1640.

William Entwistle and Ellin Greenhalgh were married on 30 May 1665 in Bolton.1

William Entwistle lived in Edgworth, Lancashire, on 30 May 1665.1

Death

William Entwistle died on 7 April 1701 at age ~61 in Edgworth.2 He was buried on 8 April 1701 at St Peter's Church in Bolton. The burial register notes that he was buried "intra ecclo", meaning inside the church. This was a rare privilege and may indicate that he was a church warden or vestryman.2,3
