William Isaac Kemp and Emma Mary ("Granny Kemp") Elliott were married on 10 November 1856 at Montefiore in Wellington. Both bride and groom signed with a mark. He lived at Duck Creek, Bligh District. Attested to the validity of 's will on 27 August 1856 in Merri Merri Creek.^17,18,3 Was the undertaker for 's burial on 14 January 1870 in Quambone, New South Wales, Australian Colonies. He was her son-in-law¹⁹ William Isaac Kemp died from carcinoma of rectum, liver and lungs on 29 April 1897 at age ~71 at Coonamble Hospital in Coonamble.^9,6 He was buried on 30 April 1897 at Old Coonamble Cemetery in Coonamble.⁹
