William Isaac Kemp and Emma Mary ("Granny Kemp") Elliott were married on 10 November 1856 at Montefiore in Wellington. Both bride and groom signed with a mark. He lived at Duck Creek, Bligh District. William Isaac Kemp lived in Duck Creek on 10 November 1856. He may have been living on Canonba station7 He lived at Warrangee Station in Mudgee, New South Wales, Australian Colonies, on 7 July 1859.1

Working life

  • On 23 April 1861 William Isaac Kemp was a stockman at Merri Merri Creek in Quambone.4
  • On 11 April 1864 William Isaac Kemp was a stockman at Moblar in Castelreagh.10
  • On 27 January 1867 William Isaac Kemp was a blacksmith at Carrabear Station in Castlereagh River.11

Death

Attested to the validity of 's will on 27 August 1856 in Merri Merri Creek. Isaac willed all his possessions to his son William Kemp, including a dray with working bullocks, cattle and money. This was on the condition that William pay all his just debts.17,18,3 Was the undertaker for 's burial on 14 January 1870 in Quambone, New South Wales, Australian Colonies. She was buried at Bokemah, a property on Merri Merri Creek.19 William Isaac Kemp died from carcinoma of rectum, liver and lungs on 29 April 1897 at Coonamble Hospital in Coonamble.9,6 He was buried on 30 April 1897 at Old Coonamble Cemetery in Coonamble.9
