John Jolliffe witnessed the death of Thomas Jolliffe, 2, on 21 November 1867 in Dapto, NSW, Australia. inflammation of the liver||Thomas' son John estimated (on the Death Certificate) that his father was 57. The Passenger List of the 'Tartar' indicates that he was only 53.
The DC also indictaes that he was survived by 10 living children and one boy predeceased him. This means that three children must have remained behind when the family emigrated in 1857.9,10,6 John Jolliffe died on 15 July 1914 at age 81 in Balgownie.6
