Joseph Entwistle was born on 23 December 1767 in Edgworth.1 He was baptized on 3 January 1768 at Darwen Chapel in Darwen, Lancashire.1

Involvement in crime

William and James, aged at age 46, in Lancaster, England, United Kingdom, on 26 January 1813.3,4 Joseph Entwistle was taken on board the Captivity Hulk on 17 April 1813 in Portsmouth, England, United Kingdom. He was issued with a jacket, a pair of breeches, two shirts, a pair of shoes, and one each of stockings (pair), hat, handkershief and blanket. He was also issued with a set of irons. During the following Quarter he was issued with another jacket, breeches, shoes and hat.5

Death

Joseph Entwistle died on 17 December 1813 at age 45 at Hospital aboard the Captivity Hulk in Portsmouth.5
